Class Descriptions:

Power Yoga - a strength & fitness-based approach to vinyasa flow style. The room is heated to at least 75 degrees for the student to achieve optimum flexibility. This class is constantly changing and challenging to the student. Keep in mind that the transitions of the yoga poses are done in a slow yet steady pace. This class will challenge your inner buddha!

Fluid Power – is a form of Power Vinyasa Flow. It focuses on continuous asana sequences that emphasize movement with the breath. This format encourages sequences of poses connected with poses of similar function. This class also emphasizes core stability & breath awareness. All levels are welcome as variations are given throughout the entire class.

Yoga for Health and Relaxation – offers a basic practice for healthy adults to maintain and improve fitness and posture, increase energy and stamina, develop confidence and trust in their bodies, increase mindfulness, learn to relax and improve sleep. Beginners as well as experienced practitioners are welcome to join this mindful yet playful class which includes movement, breath work, stillness, mindfulness and relaxation.

Power Lunch – shortened version of the extended Power Yoga Class.

Yoga for Athletes – is considered a power yoga class. It focuses on strength, flexibility, breath, and the body’s core. We spend a lot of time on aligning the body, working out all the kinks. If you have a chronic injury from your sport, please let us know. We can help you! All levels welcome.

Guided Deep Relaxation – is a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Soften into stillness and experience the equivalent of hours of ordinary sleep. Join us for this renewing and refreshing experience!

Gentle Yoga – is for those who are seeking a very relaxing practice or for those who may be recovering from or living with illness or injury. This class incorporates gentler, slower movements targeted at building or restoring core strength and comfortable joints, reducing pain, improving balance and posture. The mindful movements, breathing exercises and relaxations can be adapted to suit any needs. This class is highly recommended for those dealing with osteopenia, osteoporosis, back or joint pain. Particular attention will be given to strengthening the back and core muscles, preventing bone loss, and improving joint mobility.
